A piece of Berlin in Valencia, “Ernst Kurzhals & Co, Berlin.” A search on Google didn’t reveal much, except that there’s also a similar poster somewhere on a wall in London. Of course, there’s a phone number you can call. I didn’t. I think leaving something invisible, in the dark, and untraceable adds to the experience.
I’ve seen more tags and graffiti that adorn the walls of both Berlin and Valencia. The street artists visit each other. Where this young man comes from, I don’t know—he’s a soldier with medals, his cap or beret tilted to the side. The graffiti around and partly over him makes the composition feel like a unified whole.
