How many people contributed to this composition? It must have been quite a few, and all in the same style. Each person contributed their own piece to create a cheerful, diverse, yet cohesive whole. Even the wall, with its beautifully peeling green paint, seems to know exactly what’s expected of it.

This is one of the few photos from Berlin that doesn’t feel raw; it’s more playful. It’s a great example of how sometimes, anarchism can work well—as long as you connect with others instead of just doing your own thing.

The cassette tape and the man who reminds me of Ringo Starr give the composition a 1960s or early 1970s vibe—a time associated with freedom and happiness.
