He looks at you in a way that only children can: open and unashamed, with 100% curiosity, but also with a hint of, “Well, come on then, what are you going to do?” The boy is the work of Garrick Marchena, who I consider a master of graffiti due to the powerful impact of his images. I incorporated this image into another wall.
What strikes me is the balance—the boy seems relaxed and carefree, yet there’s something intense about him. The viewer is being watched. A connection is made. I understand there’s a story behind this, but that’s for another time.
