‘Mucho más’ means ‘much more’ in Spanish. It’s the name of a delightful wine, and when you look at this photo, the name seems completely fitting. What a busy scene, there’s so much to see! Every street artist who, after some cutting and pasting at home, wandered through the streets of El Carmen at night, stopped here and contributed with their own cutout.
Mucho más means to me that it’s ‘more than a lot.’ The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that’s exactly what’s happening here. The composition works because, although it seems like a mishmash, everything fits together nicely as a whole. They often manage to achieve that, those street artists of Valencia.
