The poster you see here is about the celebration of modern art. A Feria is typically a fair, a market, or a kind of festival, where there’s plenty of food, drink, and partying, as is common throughout Spain. But this Feria is also about art.

Next to the poster is a QR code that apparently leads you to a tasty portion of Paella, the local dish of Valencia. There’s one restaurant I never go to because I find it too polished. Instead, I prefer a different restaurant by the sea where nothing has changed in 50 years. That kind of atmosphere can’t be replicated by any interior designer—it’s authentic, something that grows slowly over time. Hemingway is said to have eaten there, along with many other famous people whose pictures hang on the wall with the owner.
