In 2020, we all went into an ‘intelligent lockdown,’ and somewhere in 2022, the measures were lifted. In Spain, however, you still had to wear a face mask for quite some time.

It was an unbelievable time, and this photo serves as a poignant reminder of it. #Staysafe still hangs throughout Valencia, slowly fading as 2022 drifts further into the past. In time, it will disappear, but the memory will remain, although it sometimes seems to fade in people’s minds.

The human ability to leave things behind is remarkable. This poster will follow the path of all souvenirs from major historical events, serving as a prompt to tell a story you were a part of.

Shipping is free within the Netherlands, and as an introductory offer, we now provide a free installation service. This means we will come to your home and hang the artwork for you at no extra cost. (Wadden Islands incur an additional fee)
