This photo was indeed taken in Berlin, although the Spanish text “Pifiar con estico” might suggest otherwise. According to online translation tools, pifiar con estico means something like “messing up with aesthetics.”
That’s not the case here—it’s a beautiful picture featuring a little girl carrying a plant in a bucket. Maybe she’s taking it to a garden to bring some green to the concrete city. We see her from behind, yet the image remains captivating. If I’m not mistaken, it was the painter Gauguin who first used this technique. He placed a female figure in the center of a painting with her back turned to the viewer, and somehow, or perhaps because of this, the painting became intriguingly beautiful.
