A girl is watering a plant—a sweet scene, until you take a closer look. She’s holding a watering can, but there’s a label stuck on it, warning us that the can or the water inside is radioactive. The plant itself isn’t quite what it seems either; it has teeth. A carnivorous plant, or perhaps a mutation caused by the contents of the watering can?
Someone else has sprayed the words “Go Veg” in green letters over the scene. But this is a plant I’d rather not eat. Surely the person who added the text must have noticed that too. On the left, you can see a beautiful woman’s face. Is this portrait emerging from the crumbling plaster, or was it part of an old, decaying poster? You can find the girl with the watering can and the face near a metro passage in Berlin-Mitte, if you look closely.
